NECOLA (Northeast Chamber Orchestra Los Angeles) is a nonprofit increasing access to the underrepresented art of chamber music and chamber orchestra for musicians and listeners of all stripes, with an emphasis on the music of Schubert, Mozart and Mendelssohn. Through curated Schubertiades (salon concerts), inclusive community ensembles, new arrangements and interdisciplinary productions, NECOLA is bringing a fresh approach to timeless music, with a love, enthusiasm and expertise often lost in our modern world. 

Based in Atwater Village, NECOLA's project-based ensembles have different instrumentations for each project: an all-professional core woodwind quintet, mixed professional and community large chamber ensembles, one-day inclusive chamber orchestra readings, and a summer chamber music workshop.
